Paula Abdul released this official statement to TMZ.

“I am deeply hurt and extremely disappointed that someone has taken a private telephone conversation that I had with my representatives and released it to the media. This is not only illegal but also highly unethical. While I don’t feel a need to justify or explain my conversation, even as a public figure I do feel my privacy has been violated and find this action to be unacceptable.”

Wonder when it will come out who leaked the recording and how much they got paid.

I’m confused about who she was on the phone with exactly. I’ve heard it was group of publicists. Why was she talking to a group of publicists? Was she interviewing replacements for her current(or maybe former) publicist who she ragged on during the phone call.

The people at People are reporting that Jennifer Aniston has a new man. The mystery fella’s name has not be revealed but they were very cozy over the Memorial Day weekend.

Although his identity remains in question, one thing’s for sure: During a romantic dinner at Santa Monica’s One Pico restaurant in the Shutters Hotel on Saturday, he had the actress’s undivided attention.

At 8 p.m. the pair slipped into the beachfront eatery with Aniston’s man gently rubbing her back as they waited for a table.

For the next three hours the duo talked by candlelight over a bottle of San Pellegrino, leaning in close and, at one point, even holding hands across the table. (Her rep had no comment on the dinner date.)

The new beau did not join Jennifer the next day when she hung out with the Cox-Arquette familia. Maybe she’s not ready for him to meet the rest of the Friends.

People is reporting that Pax Thien Jolie is officially Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s latest family addition has officially taken their surnames.

A Santa Monica court on Thursday approved Pax Thien Jolie’s name change to Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt, a court clerk confirms to PEOPLE.

Pax, 3, was adopted from a Vietnamese orphanage in March, joining Pitt and Jolie’s children Maddox, 5, Zahara, 2, and Shiloh, 1.

Because Vietnamese law makes it difficult for unmarried couples to adopt, Jolie adopted Pax on her own, but he is being raised by both her and Pitt.

There’s a transcript making the blog rounds that details Paula Abdul’s recent conversation with a group of publicists. Well wouldn’t you know it Perez Hilton has the actual recording. I debated about posting this but I think it provides a better context than the written word. It is a troubling recording and I can’t help but wonder why someone on her staff doesn’t stop her from talking with the press when she’s in this state. Paula has said over and over again that she suffers from injuries related to her dance career, injuries from a plane crash as well as a chronic illness that affects her nervous system

These are all terribly painful conditions that require pain killers. She shouldn’t make public appearances or chat with the press when she’s under the influence. Doesn’t sound like Ms. Abdul has anyone looking out for her best interest.

Aha. There is a big debate raging over  at US Weekly about Shiloh’s cover photo. Still no word on whether it was photshopped or authorized by Brangelina. It’s nice to see I wasn’t the only one that was curious

According to TMZ Paris Hilton’s cellmate has been hand picked.

Officials at the jail where Paris will do time have decided an inmate who is doing time for reckless driving will be the perfect match for Paris. Sources tell TMZ that jailers were looking for someone who they believe will not try to cash in on Hilton’s stay. The woman is already in the cell that Paris will be in … waiting for a touch of Hilton.

Sources also tell TMZ that jailers are already conducting searches of anything electronic — they are prohibiting cameras, cellphones and the like. We’re told a memo has gone out to the staff, warning them that anyone who takes pictures of Paris will be disciplined — i.e., fired.

So I’m wondering how much those guards are making and how much TMZ(or the Star or the Enquirer or name that tabloid) is paying. I’m giving it 24 hours from when Paris arrives before we get a pic of Paris in jail garb or in her cell or eating jail food.

You know I’m not usually snarky but this Nicole Richie situation is getting out of hand. Clearly she needs help. She says she didn’t actually check into rehab for an eating disorder but judging by these recent pics from TMZ she needs to do exactly that.

Um okay. Nicole says it was a joke . Nicole sweetie….It wasn’t funny. In a radio interview with Ryan Secreast Nicole said she wasn’t present when Mischa Barton became ill. Nicole was actually at the store buying Sunny Delight. Too many liquids. Not enough solid food.

US Weekly has an adorable picture of Shiloh Jolie-Pitt on the cover. I have a couple of questions. Is that a picture of Shiloh superimposed on another child’s body. Did they get an actual official photo? I mean it would have to be official to be that close and that in focus. Brad and Angie usually give first dibs to People. Maybe they decided to spread the love or maybe it’s Photoshoped with an old authorized photo.

Whatever the case looks like Shiloh had a sugary sweet first birthday.

The Children’s Health Fund is committed to providing health care to the nation’s most medically underserved children and their families through the development and support of innovative primary care medical programs, response to public health crises, and the promotion of guaranteed access to appropriate health care for all children.

She and Marc are staunch supporters of the charity. For her recent 35th birthday J Lo asked friends and family to donate to the fund instead of giving her the usual lavish gifts.

Looks like the diva is growing up and giving back. Wonder when they are going to have their own kids?

David Hyde Pierce is officially out of the closet. I mean we pretty much knew but still it’s nice that he feels comfortable coming out. The announcement came in an AP/CNN story about Pierce. It was just kind of slipped in there with this paragraph.

He worked at Playwrights Horizons, the Public Theater, Shakespeare in the Park and a lot of regional theaters such as the Guthrie in Minneapolis, Chicago’s Goodman and Long Wharf in New Haven, Conn. Pierce got to Los Angeles in the early 1990s when his partner, actor-writer-producer Brian Hargrove, wanted to write for television.

AfterElton.com then called to super duper double check that he meant life partner and Hyde’s people confirmed it.

Last week(I believe) Rosie released a video where she talked about feeling like left out on The View.

“I was really just like the foster kid for a year. I came and we considered adoption, but I really didn’t fit into the family, and then it was time for the foster kid to go back home.”

She also said she tried extremely hard with Elizabeth.

“I never tried harder to be friends with someone than I did with her from the get go, but I don’t think we ended up there, anywhere close”

Sounds like it was time to go. Can’t wait to see what Rosie cooks up next. I forgot how interesting she can be.

Britney posted a new fan message on her website. I doubt you are going to read it all and frankly I don’t blame you so I’ll comment right now. That girl needs to call her mama(I mean really how can you be mad at Lynn Spears) and get herself into some serious therapy.

Dear Fans,
I just wanted to reach out to all of you and explain some of the things that I have been faced with recently.
It’s so funny how many stories are put out there about people. It’s like we all want our side of the story out there as well, but at the end of the day only a few people care to hear what is really going on since the bad is always so much more interesting than the truth. I don’t know why, but this is so weird to me. I used to be angry at the tabloids for printing horrible things about me, but now I try to just be numb to what I see. I saw Tyra Banks once get really upset and cry on her show because they made her look fat. We all want a certain image of ourselves out there, and at some point we all do really care what other people think or we wouldn’t be here.

Recently, I was sent to a very humbling place called rehab. I truly hit rock bottom. Till this day I don’t think that it was alcohol or depression. I was like a bad kid running around with ADD. I had a manager from a long time ago come in and try to direct me and my life after I got my divorce. I was so overwhelmed I think that I was in a little shock too. I didn’t know who to go to.

I realized how much energy and love I had put into my past relationship when it was gone because I genuinely did not know what to do with myself, and it made me so sad. I confess, I was so lost.

This letter is to not place blame on anyone, although I do see the world with a completely different set of eyes now. Being in that vulnerable state and taken to dinners and parties with friends and finding out later you paid for everything was a huge learning lesson for me. I think the whole problem was letting too many people into my life. You never know another persons intentions or what another person wants. I feel I was too open and looking for answers when I had it all to begin with. I have had to cut so many people out of my life. It is so sad, because if anyone is a family person…it is me. When I was little I remember every night watching movies with my family and feeling so at peace. Dancing and singing all the time just like a little girl should. Now recently I find with my children that I want them to have that feeling all of the time. I am having to face a lot of things right now since I have children of my own. A lot of insecurities from when I was little are coming up again. It is like we are never good enough.

I know everyone thinks that I am playing the victim, but I am not and I hate what is going on right now so much. Maybe this is the reason for this letter…to maybe allow people to look at me differently. It is like when you are a real woman and say what you feel and how you think things are supposed to be, that people just say you are a “bitch.”

I feel like some of the people in my life made more of some issues than was necessary. I also feel like they knew I was beginning to use my brain for a change and cut some ties, so they wanted to be in more control of my life than me. I think it is actually normal for a young girl to go out after a huge divorce. I think it was a bigger issue because I had not gone out in such a long time. I am 25 and I do still have a lot to learn, and I am going to make mistakes everyday, and I am sure every mistake I make will probably be on CNN or Good Morning America. I am only human people and I love you for still loving me.

I am sitting here at home and it is 6:25 and both of my sons are asleep. I am truly blessed to have them in my life. Everyday is so surreal. Life in general is so surreal and crazy.

I just hope this letter made some of you think a little bit more of me and where I am coming from. I just want the same things in life that you want…and that is to be happy. It is just so weird because everyone has their own perception of me and how they think I really am. It is so weird how stories are told. There is your side, my side, and the truth. Somebody has to figure it out. I guess we will never really understand or figure out life completely. That’s God’s job. I can’t wait to meet him…or her.

Lindsay admitted herself to an intensive medical rehabilitation facility on Memorial Day. Because this is a medical matter, it is our hope that the press will appreciate the seriousness of the situation and respect the privacy of Lindsay as well as the other patients receiving treatment at the facility.

Well it looks like the happy couple are a apart for a bit. Angelina took Pax and Zahara to school this morning in Prague. Meanwhile Brad is looking uber dapper as he shoots Benjamin Button in Montreal.

Brad Pitt looks like one Slick Rick on Tuesday on the Montreal set of his upcoming film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, which tells the story of an odd romance that sparks between a woman (Cate Blanchett) of 30 and a man who, at 50, begins aging backwards.

Brad, 43, slapped on his prosthetic wrinkled mask and headed back to work, shooting scenes in his heavily made-up face.

I think I called it when this story first broke about Lindsay’s DUI. According to In Touch Weekly Lindsay has checked herself back into rehab. She’s headed to the ultra swanky Promises. It’s the same rehab that Britney Spears checked into after the head shaving incident.

“She finally realizes it’s the right thing to do,� a close friend of the 20-year-old actress tells In Touch exclusively. “She is going willingly.�
