The judge has refused her continuance but Nicole Richie didn’t exactly wait to here. She’s actually in Canada with boyfriend and baby daddy Good Charlotte’s Joel Madden. The trial stuff is set to start Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. Never fear it’s all good. Nicole doesn’t have to be present for this part. They are are only doing motions. That’s Nicole hiding behind the pillow as she and Joel arrive in Canada. Oh Canada.

So, very exciting weekend for this new mom. I am now officially ordained. Yep, thats right….Reverend Tori Spelling! I did it last week online and my official certificate is in the mail. I’m so proud. I can’t wait to hang it. And, this weekend Chateau La Rue had its very first wedding. I was so honored when the couple asked me to officiate. We did it on the front steps of the Chateau as 40 of their friends looked on seated in a lounge like atmosphere. It was so beautiful as I united Tony and Dex as life partners in love. They wrote their own beautiful vows and there was so much love surrounding them that there wasnt a dry eye in the driveway! I was beyond nervous though. I’ve done live theater and presented at The Emmys and this by far was my scariest moment simply because they had bestowed such an honor upon me and I didnt want to let them down. Afterwards, we threw the reception on our grounds where guests dined on tapas of hanger steak, sea bass, veggie lasagna, and tuna tartare. We had amazing Martini’s( thank you Krol Vodka) that we named after the couples favorite Broadway musicals. And, once again our friends at Wilson Creek Winery provided us with their special Almond Champagne. Its the best in the world! Our guests can’t get enough of it. We danced to 80’s,70’s,house, and got a show stopping performance of “Caberet� from one of our grooms. Dean and I took Liam out onto the dance floor and he had his first dance in our arms. The three of us swayed and smiled to Madonna. It was a magical evening of pure love. I will never forget that night and was so proud to witness first hand what I already knew… that Love is pure and true Love knows no gender.As I put Liam down to bed that evening I told him that he will one day find true love. A love that unites him as one with his soulmate. He will be raised knowing that true love is the ultimate and pure love know no age, gender, or race. I’ve found it, Tony and Dex have found it, and I wish love to all that seek it. Don’t ever let anyone tell you who to Love. Only our hearts can dictate that. Congrats again Tony and Dex…we wish you a lifetime of happiness. Love, T�

Pop and R&B legend Lionel Richie had this to say about his daughter’s DUI troubles after his Saturday night performance at the Essence Music Festival.
“She keeps apologizing to me. I told her, ‘You’re doing exactly what you’re supposed to be doing to your father at this age.’”
“There’s just so much information out there right now — MySpace, cell phones, the Internet,” he said. “If we had had all that when The Commodores were around, God only knows what my mother and father would have seen.”
I’m really not sure what to think about this. I certainly understand his point. Life in a bubble is hard to deal with but the possible DUI conviction is troubling on a different level. Nicole was caught driving down the wrong side of the street hopped up (or is it down) on Valium. This goes beyond dating crazy boys and staying out too late. She’s a recovering addict and shouldn’t be doing any drugs.
Rachel’s reps have denied allegations that she and her her hubby are heading for splitsville. According to Rachel’s reps the couple is currently on vacation together.
Ray’s rep tells Us, “There is no truth to it and it’s a non-item….Rachael and John are happily enjoying the holiday week up at their cabin.”
So unless they are filing in the Hampton’s after a moonlit stroll on the beach it’s not happening.

Apparently Kim Porter has had enough. She’s left Sean “Diddy” Combs and bought a swanky pad in Los Angeles. Currently Kim is filming a movie in Louisiana. As soon as she’s done she taking her four children, three of them Diddy’s, and they are off to Hollywood.
This is the second major bust up for the couple. You’ll remember a few years back that the pair broke up and Diddy found comfort in the arms of J.Lo. This time he might find comfort in the arms of another screen siren.
Sienna Miller and Diddy are denying anything that they are anything more than friends but they continue to hang out until the wee hours in NYC.
Still it might not be completely over for the pair.
“She is focusing on her career as a model and actress and raising her children,” our source said. “They are the best of friends, but they just can’t be together right now.”

TV Guide’s Aussiello has it on very good authority that after much back and forth the Sex and the City movie is definately a go. Sara Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis and Kim Cattrall(that one was dicey) are all on board. Shooting is set to start in September with the official announcement coming next week.
