Looks like there’s another celeb December wedding to report! Jimmy Fallon finally tied the knot with longtime love Nancy Juvonen last Saturday on an island in the Caribbean. The pair got engaged in August, but have been a couple for years. Congrats to the pair!
Because people love nothing more than to watch young starlets behave badly, pictures have surfaced of 15-year-old Miley Cyrus behaving less than perfectly in a hotel while on tour. Miley was apparently having a sleepover party with some friends, and a few pictures have surfaced of them gaying it up. Not that any of them really like girls, they’re just living up to what society thinks young girls should act like.
The whole thing is silly, blown out of proportion, and sort of makes me angry. I wish we could let teens be teens, famous or not. The obsession with celebrity gets way out of hand when it comes to these girls, with the entire world setting them up to fail and then both rejoicing when they do and simultaneously berating them for not being perfect. For the most part Miley seems like a regular girl with parents who are trying to keep her life as normal as possible. But with a world tour before you can drive, that’s got to be hard to do.
Taking her saint-hood one step further, cutie Natalie Portman (who I so desperately wish wasn’t famous so she could be my friend) has helped design a line of vegan shoes with Te Casan. The shoes will be available in their NYC boutique as of February 2008, but you can pre-order starting January 15. 5% of the profits will go to charity, which really isn’t a lot, but it’s better than most companies who pretty much tell charities to screw off.
Oh to be a pregnant celebrity. I don’t know how they do it, but they never seem to gain any weight in any of the places normal women do. They just get a cute little belly and some huge boobies, and then three days after popping out the kid they go back to their normal bodies. It’s not healthy, I tell you!
See Exibit A: Jennifer Lopez, still rumored to be carrying twins, looking amazing in New York a few days before Christmas. She’s definitely on the Christina Aguilera plan for motherhood, growing all boob-tastic with an adorable baby bump. Jenny’s up-ed it a notch, however, and has somehow managed to get her already full lips even more lucious! Someone needs to tell her that lip injections aren’t so good when you’re pregnant!
I’m sorry, but when you name your kids Violet and River, the hippie references will have to be included. That said, these two mamas with their two beautiful babes look like they had a great time braving the pre-Christmas cold in NYC for a play date.
So strange that this year NYC is the place to be for celebrity holiday celebrating. All the cool kids (and their cool parents) congregated a few days before Christmas … what about New York makes it so family-friendly?

The proof that Paris Hilton may finally have gotten too old for people to care about her romantic antics as much as they have in years past? Her sixteen year old brother Barron is starting to make almost as many headlines as Paris does!
Young Barron may have holed himself up in a hotel room at the Bel Air Hotel with his possible girlfriend Skye Peters (also sixteen), and the police may have been called. The parents of the youngsters are good friends, and have said both families were at the Bel Air, and that the rest of the story is completely false.
Hah! All Paris has on her gossip plate lately is photo ops with the pizza boy and partying around the world. She’s turned into the media’s next Tara Reid while her younger brother is taking her place in the scandal spotlight. I bet Paris isn’t too happy about it!
Rumor has it an onscreen romance form Gossip Girl has moved to real life! Blake Lively and Penn Badgley play cutie couple Sabrina and Dan on the teen drama, and insiders are now saying the pair have taken their love affair off the cameras and into real life. They were spotted, sans tv crew, out Christmas shopping and looking every bit the cute couple! Aw! Penn’s super cute, so here’s hoping this couple lasts longer than the writer’s strike!
Well, it looks like I was wrong when I supposed the Damon clan was headed from LA to Miami for the holidays. The whole group was spotted in NYC before Christmas, bundled up and braving the cold. I so want to believe this adorable family found time to hang out with Matt’s friend Ben and his adorable family, who are also in NYC for the holidays (and for Jen’s turn on Broadway).

… and apparently so does her dislike for maternity clothes. Those jeans cannot be comfortable on her. Even Christina, who is always super fabulous, manages to find herself cute maternity clothes, so Halle needs to take a lesson. They make skinny jeans for the pregnant set nowadays, so she could still get that same look, but with a lot more comfort than I’m sure she’s feeling now.
More photos of celebs doing good! Yay! It’s the only way to go on this day before Christmas, for sure. And it’s of course the “first couple” of charity work, Brad and Angelina, at the most recent Children’s Health Fund Event! I love how they both look so totally uncomfortable in the more “staged” photo, but when it comes to stretching your arm out in front of you to take a candid, they both look totally at ease and enjoying every minute of it.
I try really hard to dislike this couple, what with how they started their relationship. And there’s all this negative press to feed into that for me. But I always come away loving them. They do so much for their kids, for their kids birth countries, for the planet, for the poor … I wish I had the gumption to be that caring! For all their flaws, this couple seems to have gotten the gist of all the power their celebrity offers, and are using it for the greater good.

Does anyone else find it odd that Shiloh has been MIA for like six months, and then just as suddenly as those supposed Angie quotes where she bad-mouths Shiloh start to surface again, she’s marched out and placed in Angie’s hands like they’re the perfect little family? I don’t think Shiloh is loved any less, for the record. I just think that she’s not in preschool yet, and so doesn’t get photographed as often as the other three, who are taken to school by their parents every day (which, by the way, most kids in America can’t claim).
However, it’s funny to me that all of a sudden the whole family is out and about again, and Shiloh and Angie are suddenly everywhere together. These two might just have a much better mother/daughter bond than anyone gives them credit for! I think it’s cute that these kids always look so normal. Not eating some holistic food, but just munching on chips like every other kid would be.
In a celeb-world full of coochie-flashes, midnight gas station runs for no apparent reason, jail time and club hopping, it’s always nice to see the famous doing good. There are far too few of these types of pictures, and someday hopefully there’ll be more. More and more celebs are jumping on the “doing good” bandwagon, and I’m super excited about that. With all the money floating around Hollyood, these people could pretty much end poverty if they stopped shopping for a day!
Okay, so that’s an exaggeration, but there could be some real change affected on the world if something like that were to happen. Helping to pave the way? Nicole Richie and Joel Madden (seen here with Nicole’s younger siblings), spending some time at their newfound charity’s holiday party, the Richie-Madden Children’s Foundation Holiday Party. It’s nice that they gave these kids a great holiday party, and that they’re giving back to others. Here’s hoping this continues as they raise their family.

Throwing her belly into the ring is Jessica Sierra, fallen American Idol, sometimes porn queen, and now mama-to-be! Still in jail after all those charges were brought against her, she’s now announcing she’s carrying the baby of an unnamed rapper.

Yes, I know this happened well over a week ago. But we’ve been rewatching all the Arrested Developments, and since she was on the show, I wanted to bring it up.
Liza Minelli passed out on stage in Sweden during a concert, and people everywhere were concerned with the songstress’ health. Was she sick and not letting on? What sort of medical problems led to the collapse?
Turns out Miz Minelli was drunk off her ass, as well as high on painkillers! Nice. She was wisked back to New York not long after the collapse, where she is hopefully detoxing.
