33-year-old Nadya Suleman recently became the second woman to give birth to healthy octuplets in the United States. But who knew it would lead to a such a media frenzy? The day Suleman gave birth nobody knew anything about the mom, not even what she looked like. But as photographs and interviews began to emerge the media realized that Nadya Suleman’s story was a nothing short of a gold mine.

This mother of octuplets already had six children at home, children that she cannot afford because she is not employed. After doing some digging the media also found out that the single mother and her six kids live with Nadya’s mother Angela Suleman and that Nadya gives no money to her mother towards rent or bills and uses government food stamps to feed the children. Nadya Suleman’s mother was forced to go bankrupt a few years ago due to financial stresses.

Nadya Suleman’s mother recently let media film her disapproval of her daughter’s decisions, saying that she’s tired of taking care of the six children. She’s obviously overwhelmed at the thought of helping to take care of a total of 14 young children when the 8 babies arrive home from the hospital.

As everyone is wondering how on earth a mother of 6 children ended up being implanted with 6 eggs by a fertility specialist it’s hard to miss the fact that Nadya Suleman is the spitting image of Angelina Jolie. Wondering if this unstable mother was naturally an Angelina look-a-like or had some kind of celebrity infatuation the media did some more digging. What they found was disturbing, old photographs of Nadya Suleman with a much different looking face. Based on photographs it appears that Suleman has had a nose job and lip enhancements.

Nadya Suleman received a large disability cheque as well as $1800 a month in disabilty for 3 of her children. If it’s in fact true that she doesn’t pay the household bills could it be possible that some of the money was used towards plastic surgery and in vitro fertilization? The Dr. Phil show recently showed video footage of the house where Nadya Suleman is living with her mother and 6 children. The living conditions are small and cluttered with clothes lying about. Dr. Phil believes people should help Nadya Suleman for the sake of the 14 children.

Nadya has set up a website featuring the octuplets pictures where she asks for public donations by PayPal. I think that Nadya’s mother should open up a website asking for donations, I feel much more sorry for her. It has also been reported that Nadya Suleman received $300,000 for one of her recent television interviews. I’m sure she’ll make enough money to give her 14 children better accommodations but there are many people that believe that her irresponsibility is inexcusable and that she doesn’t deserve to keep the octuplets.

Now that Jennifer Lopez is the last in the winter round of celebrity births, speculators have turned all their attention on the mama to be and her rumored twins. From baby names to checking into the hospital, I’m not sure I believe any of the rumors just yet, but of course I’m bringing them to you to disect for yourselves.

First up is the matter of naming her babes. Because everyone still assumes she’s having two babies, and I guess her mother isn’t helping any on that front. Rumor has it Guadalupe (Jennifer’s mom) stopped by Genesis Jewlers in NY not that long ago and snapped up two gold-rope baby bracelets, each with a name on it. The names in question? Max and Emme.

If you think you know the names of the babes, it’s time to also start placing bets on when they’ll be born. Manhasset’s North Shore University Medical Hospital is denying reports that Jenny has already checked into the hospital! Two outside sources have confirmed seeing her there, and are saying security has been tightened because of it.

While she may have checked in under a pseudonym, it’s not likely JLo and Mark are in the hospital already. If they were, we’d already be hearing of the birth, and there’d be more floating around the internet.

And now that I’ve said that, I’m sure an announcement will be made that she’s given birth. Hm.

Unlike most women, Jessica Alba doesn’t seem to be super scared to give birth. She is instead focusing on the truly terrifying part, the raising of her child!

While talking to Extra at a press junket for her new film The Eye, she let them in on her breastfeeding fears.

She also admitted that she’s already dreaming about baby.

“It had to do with breastfeeding, which is the only thing I’m paranoid about, more than giving birth,� she revealed, adding that she’s trying not to gain too much weight during the pregnancy.

OR, maybe she’s just like any first-time mom to be, worried about giving birth, about her kid biting her nipples, that sort of thing. It’s good to hear celebs acting like normal human beings every once in awhile, and while my distaste for this actress runs pretty high (a topic for another day), I can respect her honesty here.

So the rumors ended up being true. Christina Aguilera’s reps are finally admitting to what we all knew already … she had her baby on Saturday! However, when we all thought she’d had him (on Friday), she was still in labor. Born at 10pm, little Max weighed in at just over 6 lb. No word as to when they’re leaving the hospital, when we’ll get to see pics, and if Christina is still planning on being in that movie with Katie Holmes. I wonder if she was in labor from when we all thought she was having her baby until she actually did. If she was, that baby better be the best baby on the planet, because that’s one long-ass labor!

It’s good Max and little Harlow don’t have to share a birthday, because with diva moms these kids are sure to have plenty of diva-fits in their futures, and having to share a birthday could have been too much to handle!

In more baby news from Friday, Christina Aguilera had her baby boy either just before or just after Nicole Richie had her baby girl. These two will forever be plagued with the same birthday, but hopefully the two mamas will have the sense to have a few joint birthday parties as the two little ones are growing up.

There’s no word yet as to the name or weight or anything of Christina and Jordan’s baby boy, and to be honest we can’t even be sure it was a boy until they announce it. But with all the blue-themed baby showers and calling her baby bump Jordy all the time, my money is on Jordan Bratman, Jr.

Once again, congrats to the happy couple and their little bundle of joy! I can’t wait to see pictures of this kid, but I’m not as sure he’ll be adorable. With a mom who wears that much makeup and a dad who isn’t the most attractive man on the planet, he’s got a 50/50 shot of being either a drag queen or a monkey. I’m so mean!!!

ETA: Now we’re not sure if she’s had the baby yet. Christina’s reps are telling Us Weekly she hasn’t had the baby yet, so who knows what’s up!!!

Nope, that’s not the little baby she had, as Nicole and Joel are the proud parents of a little baby girl! Harlow Winter Kate Madden was born weighing in just over 6 lb yesterday, and was actually taken home the same day! Somehow I don’t get how it’s safe to take home your baby the same day it’s been born, but what do I know. While Harlow wasn’t the only baby born at Cedar’s Sinai yesterday, hers is the first we’ve gotten any information on, so she’s definitely ahead in the celebrity baby race for now. Good for you Harlow! Now we just need to start seeing pictures of your cute little baby face and all will be well. You know that kid’s going to be gorgeous.

Congrats to the family, and here’s hoping little Harlow will be healthy and safe, and start showing her adorable baby face all over Hollywood!

How cute is four month-old Valentina Pinault, daughter of Salma Hayek?! The pair were spotted in Beverly Hills and West Hollywood yesterday, hitting up a few shops and getting in some serious mother/daughter time. I’m such a sucker for celebrity babies, and this one will most definitely be no exception. Actually, I’m a sucker for babes in general, so it’s not just about famous babes. Which makes it somehow seem much better, at least in my mind.

Oh to be a pregnant celebrity. I don’t know how they do it, but they never seem to gain any weight in any of the places normal women do. They just get a cute little belly and some huge boobies, and then three days after popping out the kid they go back to their normal bodies. It’s not healthy, I tell you!

See Exibit A: Jennifer Lopez, still rumored to be carrying twins, looking amazing in New York a few days before Christmas. She’s definitely on the Christina Aguilera plan for motherhood, growing all boob-tastic with an adorable baby bump. Jenny’s up-ed it a notch, however, and has somehow managed to get her already full lips even more lucious! Someone needs to tell her that lip injections aren’t so good when you’re pregnant!

So strange that this year NYC is the place to be for celebrity holiday celebrating. All the cool kids (and their cool parents) congregated a few days before Christmas … what about New York makes it so family-friendly?

Okay, no one can tell me this kid isn’t cute! That’s Isabella Damon, being carried through LAX yesterday by her mom and dad (and we think her aunt was there as well). I’m betting the family is headed back to Miami for the holidays, but really? I just can’t get over how adorable this kid is!

Between the Damon clan, the Affleck clan, and the Jolie-Pitt clan, there’s bound to be some serious hooking up in a few years. In all reality, they’ll all probably think of one another like siblings, with their parents being so close and all! Now if only George would add to the group!

Like I said, best gossip day ever. Twenty-two year old Lily Allen has announced today that she’s pregnant with boyfriend of three months Ed Simmons! That’s what, three pregnancies in the last week? Jessica Alba, Jamie Lynn Spears, and now Lily Allen.

Hers might be my favorite, though. The pair have been together for all of a season, and they’re moving in together so as to give the kid a proper family. And Lily’s already been spotted out smoking. Class.

It’s obviously all babies all day here at celebrity weasel, what with Jamie Lynn having a bun in the oven and all that, so I thought I’d give you all a new picture of Jessica Alba and her supposed bump. I’m still not seeing it, but usually I’m the last to notice these sorts of things, so you’ll all probably see it and think I’m nuts for not noticing.

Still grouchy, Jessica had better get used to all the photographers around her. Especially now that she and her man Cash are adding to the family.
